OUR DCE (Director of Christian Education)

Timothy C. Roggow

Tim was born in Los Angeles, CA where his parents were principal and teacher at Highland Park Lutheran School. After kindergarten, his family moved to Norfolk, NE where his dad was principal of Christ Lutheran School. Tim, being the second child, grew up with two sisters, Miriam and Gloria and two brothers, Paul and Philip.

Tim attended Concordia College, Seward, NE and graduated in 1990 with a Director of Christian Education (DCE) degree with a concentration in Elementary Education and minor in Physical Education. Tim also has 15 hours of graduate work in Family Life Ministry. While in college he met his wonderful wife, Annalisa. They were married in 1988 in Lakewood, CO.

Tim served his DCE Internship year (1989) and the next 4 years at Good Shepherd Lutheran in Fremont, NE. He then accepted the DCE position at Immanuel Lutheran in Joplin, MO. In June of 1996, Tim accepted the DCE position to serve at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Union, MO. In August, 2000 he accepted the DCE position at Immanuel Lutheran in Fargo, ND In July of 2002, Tim began his current position as the DCE at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Simpsonville, SC.

Tim and Annalisa have been blessed with two wonderful sons, Aaron and Jacob. Tim and his family enjoy doing things outdoors with going to the beach and hiking at the top of the list. Tim also enjoys being in the garden and working on home fix-it projects.
